Chores collects only the information needed to provide the service: your name, email address, and password (stored securely as a hash). We also store chore descriptions, monetary values, and transaction history that you create within the app.
Your information is used solely to operate the Chores app — authenticating your account, displaying your family's chores, and tracking balances. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.
Your data is stored on secure servers. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Child accounts are created and managed by a parent. Children's data is limited to their name, optional login credentials, assigned chores, and transaction history. We do not collect any additional information from children.
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app's Settings screen. You may also contact us at support@chores-tracker.fly.dev to request deletion.
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
